Who We Are
We are a friendly group who exist to encourage and support anyone who loves textiles be that design; colour; texture or creating and experimenting with yarn and fibres through the medium of weaving, spinning and/or dyeing. We are keen to encourage beginners as well as the more experienced and to share ideas, skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
The Guild was formed in 1958, and we have maintained a healthy membership throughout that time.
We are affiliated to the National Association of the Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers, www.wsd.org.uk. All our members automatically become members of the National Association.
